The European Conference on Information Systems has a long standing tradition and is organised each year in the first weeks of June. The first edition of the conference was in Henley-on-Thames in 1993, and it has been hosted by many different countries since, such as:

• 18th European Conference on Information Systems in Pretoria, South Africa
• 19th European Conference on Information Systems in Helsinki Finland
• 20th European Conference on Information Systems in Barcelona Spain
• 21st European Conference on Information Systems in Utrecht, Netherlands
• 22nd European Conference on Information Systems in Tel Aviv, Israel
