Founded in 1780, the WWU (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität) Münster is a university with tradition. The European Research Center for Information Systems has its headquarters in Münster. Ten professors of information systems, practical computer science, quantitative methods, business administration and law conduct research on interdisciplinary questions. Several hundred scientific assistants work at various partner institutions doing international as well as interdisciplinary research. Another important support for the research is the Advisory Board, which consists of several diverse companies. The Advisory Board ensures applicable and practical research by maintaining a permanent exchange and contacts with the industry. In addition, the ERCIS cooperates with several research partners at the University of Münster. A range of perspectives allows a unique multidisciplinarity. |
